Our Seal Cruise takes you on a sightseeing adventure as you travel from Orleans to Chatham Harbor.

Our fully narrated 1 hour 45 minute Seal Watch Adventure Cruises are filled with humor and historical facts including stories of Pilgrims, Pirates, Seals, Great White Sharks, Shipwrecks and Buried Treasure. We travel the historic Orleans “River” passing the ancient summer grounds of Native Americans as we traverse Pleasant Bay following the National Seashore sand dunes to Chatham Harbor. Islands, salt marsh, narrow passages and historic locales mark the way to visit the seals in Chatham Harbor and stop by the Chatham Fish Pier–home to the local fishing fleet. You may also add a visit to view the Chatham Lighthouse by water to your reservation. The lighthouse is within the harbor, protected by the barrier beach.

Top-Rated Sightseeing Cruise in Orleans, MA

"Top Notch Tour"

“I’ve been coming to Cape Cod for 15 years and of all the experiences I’ve had here (whale watching tours, fishing boat excursions, etc), this was one of my top favorite things I’ve enjoyed doing. Captain Rob is a wealth of knowledge and tells great stories- without sounding scripted like some tours. He knew exactly where to take us to see the seals up close and the boat was very comfortable and spacious for our group of 6 adults and 3 children. I’d recommend Blue Claw for a fun way to get on the water and see some wildlife!”

"Wonderful Cape Experience"

“I live here, in Centerville, and my family has been coming to visit for years. I am always looking for great cape experiences for them to enjoy. Blue Claw Boat Tours ranks among the best! Captain Rob shared fun and interesting facts. His pleasant and friendly demeanor truly made our seal excursion memorable.”

"A Fantastic Tour for Families"

“We went on a seal tour and it was fantastic. Captain Rob Wissmann was super knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. He took time to slow or stop around numerous points of interest and explained quite a bit about the surrounding towns and area history. He was incredibly friendly and great with the kids. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anybody that enjoys being on the water and seeing the local wildlife. My kids were asking of we could go back immediately after getting in the car which is always a good sign.”
